Caltrain to Test New Electric Fleet – Service Suspended June 8 and 9, 2024

As part of the Caltrain Modernization Program that will electrify the Caltrain Corridor from San Francisco’s 4th and King Station to San Jose and replace diesel-hauled trains with electric trains, Caltrain will suspend service on Saturday June 8, and Sunday June 9, 2024. This will allow testing of the new electric fleet.

Service will be restored on Monday, June 10, 2024.
