Circus Bella:
Saturday 7/9, 2pm, Joe DiMaggio Playground (North Beach) & Sunday 7/10, 2pm, Union Square. Circus Bella is a full-force, non-stop 60-minute kaleidoscope of thrilling feats of balance and strength, elegant demonstrations of grace and poise and outrageous humor of slapstick antics. www.circusbella.org
Flower Piano:
Now until Monday 7/18, 9am – 6pm, the Botanical Garden, Golden Gate Park. San Francisco’s Botanical Garden is transformed into an outdoor concert hall and everyone is invited to play and listen to the twelve pianos tucked away in the flower-filled gardens. On weekends, professional pianists perform. www.
Sunday Streets:
Sunday 7/10, 11am – 4pm, the Tenderloin. A mile of streets in the heart of the Tenderloin (Jones St. & Eddy St.) will transformed into a giant block party where vehicles are not allowed. Music, dancing, art, games, food and much more will be there to enjoy. www.sundaystreets.com
Stern Grove Festival:
Sunday 7/10, 2pm, Stern Grove (19th Ave. & Sloat Blvd.). The acclaimed San Francisco Symphony will perform in the beautiful park setting. Arrive early, spread out your blanket and enjoy the day. www.sterngrove.org
