Dante Benedetti Baseball Classic:

Saturday, March 22, at AT&T Park.  USF v. BYU at 12 noon followed by the Bruce-Mahoney game featuring Sacred Heart Cathedral v. St. Ignatius.  The Dante Benedetti Foundation is dedicated to continuing the spirit and legacy of Dante Benedetti.  For almost 40 years Dante was San Francisco’s Mr. Baseball to thousands of youngsters.  His kindness and generosity, (and occasional firm hand), guided many a young person away from trouble and back onto the road to becoming responsible adults.  The foundation’s mission continues to be “helping kids through the game of baseball.”  www.dantebenedetti.org

Annual Macy’s Flower Show:

Sunday, March 23 – Sunday, April 6 at Macy’s, Union Square.  This year’s theme is the “Secret Garden” that will be an extravagant display of over 120 varieties of flowers and provide a taste of gardens from around the world, including Asia, England and Holland.  www.macys.com

Thursday, March 27 – Saturday, March 29 at Moscone North.  Hundreds of exhibitors and developers will be showcasing the hottest and latest hardware, software, apps and accessories.  There will be over 50 talks and keynotes offering insight and training from the most successful leaders in the industry. www.macworldiworld.com
