Consider reading The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, written by a woman named Marie Kondo as a way of introducing her method for eliminating clutter, organizing possessions, and in the process creating space for progress, success, and joy in our lives. In the book,\u00a0Ms. Kondo walks us through the philosophy behind her <strong>&#8220;KonMari method&#8221;<\/strong>. She describes a series of encounters with clients, and refers to her own life-long search for efficient organization with minimal long-term effort, each followed by a summary of what she learned as a result of the engagement. By the book&#8217;s conclusion, and especially if we implement the method ourselves, we learn a joyful way to eliminate clutter not only our homes, but also our mental space. We learn a new way to relate to the most important spaces in our lives\u2026 our homes.\u00a0 These are not merely places to store clothing and other material possessions, or for sleeping after a long day of work A home is a\u00a0<em><strong>sanctuary<\/strong><\/em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>where one finds solace and inspiration. It\u2019s where you live, perhaps with the most important people in your life, and where you wake up every morning and find the courage to step out into the world.
